Our research relates to the understanding of modulatory signaling networks that promote the resolution of inflammation following organ transplantation. We utilize Systems Immunology and computational approaches for a data-driven and unbiased discovery of novel immunoregulatory mechanisms. Current immunosuppressive regiments fail to resolve persistent anti-donor responses and are not optimized to induce transplant tolerance or long-term graft survival following transplantation. The identification of new pro-tolerogenic drug targets and strategies are essential to improve transplant outcome and advance clinical care of organ transplant recipients.
